Our Team

Maryam is meticulous and task-driven. She holds a B.Sc. Degree in Sociology from the Abuja University 2000-2005 and Masters in Public health from the International University of Bamenda Cameroon, 2013-2015. She started her career as the Personal assistant to the Bauchi state Governor on MDGs in 2007-2009. She was reappointed as a Special assistant from 2011-to 2012 and was promoted as the Senior Special Assistant to the Bauchi state Governor on MDGs from 2010-to 2015.

She is the Founder of “The Syndicate in Supporting Women and Children Initiative” (SISWACHI)a civil society organization working to protect the right of Women and Children in the areas of health, education and empowerment, in Bauchi State. She has over 15 years of experience in managing and coordinating projects. Equipped with exceptional ability to oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize the project’s progress. She supports day-to-day operational functions by working collaboratively with the executives
